Baby In A Bowtie

We finally have an adoption finalization date!!

Once we got the date, I ordered Jayden an outfit to wear to court. It works out well because we have a wedding to go to just two days after our court date so he can wear it to both.

It came yesterday and I immediately tried it on him.

We started with the hat, but that didn't last long on his head.

Baby in a bowtie!!




(Books are better when you read them upside down...and wearing a bowtie.)


We gave the hat one more chance, but it came off right after this.


And I'll leave you with the picture that made me laugh out loud when I saw it...

"Mom, why did you make me dress up in this outfit and then take a hundred pictures of me?"

    So cute!! Could you stitch a strip of elastic to the hat (to run under his chin) to keep it on him? That's the only way Liam will keep on any hat!

    So dapper! And yay, I know what a thrill it is to finally have that finalization date! We finalized when our son was 10 months and it felt like we were waiting forever!
