Jayden turned two and we celebrated with a Sesame Street birthday party!

Sesame Street theme song lyrics leading up to the house.
Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Big Bird footprints leading up the house.
(Big thanks to my sister for actually doing the work of taping them down for me!)
I love the cookie with a bite taken out of it on the back of Jay's Cookie Monster shirt!
A clown came and did balloon twisting, which the kids loved, and so did the adults!
Photo props can be bought in my Etsy shop :)
I watched as he backed up against this poster to be with all the characters. So cute.

Don't disturb me. I'm fishing.
The above picture is Jay blowing out his birthday candles and below is me blowing out my candles for my 2nd birthday. I bought the "vintage" cake pan off of e-bay and made Jay the same cake I had.
We went back the next day to clean up and Jay loved everything just as much the second day.
Hey, I have a rubber ducky too.
Oh, Lisa, I loved the fact that you recreated the same cake for him as you had. You are such an amazing mother!
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a fantastic job! So many cool details. And I LOVE that you both got the same cake :) It's all so sweet!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun and you put so much work into it. Did I tell you that when Jacob saw the footprints he immediately thought they were of a t-rex? LOL Also, totally borrowing your party favor idea. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have done such a terrific job. I loved everything that you put together and it looked like Jay had a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing with my nephew's first birthday. I made an Elmo smash cake for him, then made Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Oscar the Grouch cupcakes for everyone else.
Soooooo adorable!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING! Such a cute party and Jayden gets more gorgeous every day!!
ReplyDeleteYou should be a party planner. This looks like it was SO MUCH FUN for everyone!!! Seriously love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd how special that you made the same cake for J. That got me all teary.
Looks like he had a perfect birthday!
This makes me love Sesame Street all over again! It's awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a fabulous birthday party! And I love that you both had the same cake - how special!!!
ReplyDeleteMy second birthday cake was also Sesame Street. My mom bought cookie cutters of all the characters that she iced, and the cake was a street.
ReplyDeleteYou are insanely talented. Party planner extraordinaire!
Lisa, you are AMAZING. Simply amazing. What memories for Jay to cherish as he's older!!
ReplyDeleteHe is so loved that little boy. That's the most amazing party I've ever seen.
